An “insane” track has been stirring the internet into a frenzy after a controversial collaboration between R Kelly and P Diddy resurfaced.

The tune featured steamy lyrics and racy visuals and was titled Satisfy Me. Online users have revisited the track and thrown shade at it on the YouTube upload. One user commented: “They bout to drop the prison remix now […],” while another joked: “This song is now number one on the Billboard Prison Charts.”

“2 of the greatest entertainers in cellblock history,” one user mocked, while a fourth remarked: “The FREAKIEST collab in history.” Other in the comments section wrote: “Who knew 25 years later they[‘d] both be in jail,” and elsewhere users said: “Craziest duo potentially in history. “This might be the most cancelled song of all time [laughing face emojis],” another commented. Some fans simply asked who had came across the tune after the later Diddy – whose real name is Sean Combs – allegations and his arrest. Others branded it “nuts” and “insane”.

Kelly, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, was once a Hollywood icon until his dramatic demise in 2019 following his arrest and conviction on federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges involving minors. Kelly, known for tunes such as Space Jam’s I Believe I Can Fly, and Ignition (Remix), was awarded Grammys and was a sought-after songwriter and producer who contributed to a number of albums by A-listers such as Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, and Justin Bieber.

The 2019 documentary, Surviving R Kelly led to RCA records tearing up his contract and revived interest in the allegations. As of 2024, he is currently serving a combined sentence of 31 years. P Diddy, who collaborated with Kelly on Satisfy You, was arrested on September 16, 2024. He was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution purposes, but denies all allegations. His bail request was denied.
