Francesca Eastwood has been arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence.
Lt. Andrew Myers of the Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed the arrest of Francesca, an actress who is the daughter of Clint Eastwood, to multiple outlets including the Los Angeles Times and Fox News.
“Officers conducted an investigation, and based on statements and injuries, Francesca Ruth Fisher Eastwood of Los Angeles was arrested for a felony, PC 273.5 — Domestic Violence, and was booked at BHPD Jail,” Myers said in a statement to both outlets on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
The lieutenant told Fox News that the BHPD responded to a call around 10:42 p.m. local time on Saturday, Oct. 12, about “a possible domestic violence incident.”
Per the latter outlet, citing authorities, Francesca, 31, was arrested for alleged “assault-domestic violence/inflicting corporal injury (spouse or cohabitant abuse).”
Law enforcement did not reveal the identity of the alleged victim.
The actress’s bail was set at $50,000, according to both outlets, with the Times reporting that she was due in court Tuesday. According to Fox News, citing authorities, Francesca’s bail has been posted and she has been released from jail.
Born to Clint, 94, and Frances Fisher, Francesca is the seventh of Clint’s eight children. She caught the public’s attention in 2012 when she starred in E!’s reality show Mrs. Eastwood & Company, which followed her family life with stepmom Dina and sister Morgan. She was also named Miss Golden Globe in 2013.
Since then, Francesca has appeared in films like Jersey Boys (2014), The Vault (2017), Old (2021) and Clawfoot (2023). She will also star in her dad’s newest film Juror No. 2, out Nov. 1.
