After the accident, the cat walked towards the pile of garbage and lay down. Everyone thought it had passed away, it was so pitiful.
Chul is the cat we discovered and rescued about four months ago. The incredible journey of his resilience and determination has truly inspired us. I still remember the first time we encountered him, lying unconscious by the roadside.
He had just survived a terrible accident and was left abandoned here. The cat lay motionless amidst the garbage bags and fallen leaves. Its body was filthy, and its eyes were closed in pain. I was almost in tears witnessing this heartbreaking sight. We quickly scooped it up and rushed it to a veterinary clinic.
After receiving medication and rest, the cat slowly regained consciousness. The veterinarian informed us that it had suffered minor injuries, luckily no broken bones. But the major concern was the cat’s poisoning and acute kidney failure. It was immediately admitted for urgent treatment. Throughout the week, the cat remained in critical condition, requiring round-the-clock care from the medical team.
We visited and encouraged it every day. The resilient cat bravely fought through the critical stage and started to recover. Numerous injections and medications were administered to save its life. After one week, it became mobile again and was discharged for continued care at home. Its face still carried a fierce expression, but I was relieved to know it was getting better. During the initial days with the rescue team, it was cautious and always on guard.
It didn’t want to come near or allow us to pet it. Even its eating had to follow strict rules and regulations. Chul had to strictly avoid eating dry food and only consume the meats and pate approved by the doctor. But time gradually healed both its physical and emotional wounds. Chul became more open and accepted our presence. It turned out to be an affectionate and warm-hearted cat.
Currently, Chul has fully recovered, healthy, and beautiful. However, it is still waiting for a loving family to adopt it. If you feel a fondness for this cat, please leave a comment or share the video to help Chul find a suitable new home.
