The 38-year-old stunned fans on the weekend when it was announced she had signed up for ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! for a record fee, making her debut on the show.

Catching up with pals in Wilmslow, Cheshire, before she heads off Down Under, Coleen beamed, sporting a mint-coloured fleece, black leggings and trainers. With her hair pulled back into a bun showing off her understated makeup, the Scouser smiled as she chatted with her friends over a long ladies’ lunch before heading back out into the crisp wintery weather.

The 38-year-old stunned fans on the weekend when it was announced she had signed up for ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! for a record fee, making her debut on the show.

With her hair pulled back into a bun showing off her understated makeup, the Scouser smiled as she chatted with her friends over a long ladies’ lunch before heading back out into the crisp wintery weather.

Following a 2022 ruling in Coleen’s favour after Jamie Vardy’s wife sued her for defamation, the two returned to court last week, where it was decided costs will not be slashed following an appeal by Rebekah, who has to pick up the majority of Coleen’s whopping £1.8m legal bill.

“Coleen’s decision to join I’m A Celeb is a fascinating but not an entirely unsurprising move,” Mayah Riaz, of Mayah Media, told the Mirror. “This could be a masterstroke in maintaining her public relevance as well as helping her to keep the upper hand in the public narrative following the Wagatha Christie case. Appearing on the show would solidify Coleen’s place as a cultural figure who is capable of transcending the WAG stereotype and adapting to the broader entertainment world.”

Coleen’s decision to join I’m A Celeb is ‘not surprising’ according to a PR expert

ITV bosses are hopeful she’ll speak about the Wagatha Christie trial

Mayah claims Coleen came across as “intelligent, strategic, and composed” during the Wagatha Christie trial. She also shone in her hit Disney+ documentary, where she gave audiences an insight into how the high profile turmoil affected her.

Now, the PR expert says her news stint on reality TV will give the ‘polished’ mum-of-four a fresh platform to connect with fans on a deeper level, showing a more “vulnerable side” and, in doing so, will win over a new allegiance of fans.

Coleen is also set to have the backing of football star, Ally McCoist, who has also reportedly signed up for I’m A Celeb. Ally slammed Rebekah’s husband, Jamie Vardy, during the Wagatha Christie trial on TalkSport radio and is also an outspoken ally of Coleen’s husband, Wayne.
