As it turns out, dogs don’t just make amazing pets to keep you company, they can also act as a deterrent to potential trespassers, particularly if they’re ferocious guard dogs. Despite the “beware of dog” signs that their owners have put up though, the reality is that these animals are anything but ferocious.

They might be lazy, cute, fluffy, lonely and some not even the same species (we’re looking at you, cats) but one thing they all have in common is that they’re certainly not guard dogs.
