Sean “Diddy” Combs once aspired to mingle with royalty at his extravagant parties. In a resurfaced 2011 interview on *The Graham Norton Show*, the disgraced music mogul, now 54, revealed that he hoped Prince William and Prince Harry would attend his soirées when they were “young bucks.”
“Not anymore,” he clarified, as Graham Norton reminded him that William was set to marry Kate Middleton later that year.
“Don’t ruin our royal wedding for us,” joked the 61-year-old host, to which Combs responded, “Trust me, they’re off the list.”
The “Bad Boy for Life” rapper elaborated, “Before, when they were young bucks getting into a lot of trouble themselves, I thought, ‘Why don’t you come hang out with me?’”
Combs appeared to reference William, now 42, and Harry’s well-documented escapades, including the Duke of Sussex’s infamous party nights in Las Vegas during his youth.
The “Come to Me” rapper has faced rumors of placing young men in uncomfortable situations. In another resurfaced video, Combs once asked a teenage Justin Bieber why he hadn’t been “calling” him to hang out, leaving the now 30-year-old singer visibly uneasy.
