Police had earlier received a 911 call reporting an aggressive man who may be under the influence of drugs and alcohol. The hotel also said that before his death, Liam had been acting strangely in the hotel lobby, smashing his laptop and being carried back to his room by staff.
At the scene, police and medical staff from SAME (Buenos Aires public emergency medical services system) confirmed that Liam Payne had died after falling from the third floor of the hotel. According to the determination, Liam Payne passed away at about 5:11 p.m. local time. Crescenti head of SAME said that Liam Paynes injuries were so serious that there was no possibility of recovery.
